Understanding a Vital Resource

Time

Engineering, logistics, resource harvesting, manufacturing, transportation and construction.

These marvels constitute modernity.

When modernity is closely observed and complex infrastructure construction is timed, however, it appears there isn't enough time in a human lifespan to build such complex infrastructure.

Minor & Major Anomalies in the Historical Record of Construction

Here is the Texas State Capital building photographed in 1889.

It can readily be observed how foliage is sparse and new trees have been planted.

No more than ten (10) years later (Photo records logged 1890's), we can observe:

1. The row of trees leading to the Capital have rapidly matured.

2. Very mature trees are present along the front of the Capital, where none were planted in 1989.

Here is a closeup of a front section of the Capital building in 1889.

Here is a closeup of the same front section of the Capital building no more than ten (10) years later.

It's odd how twenty-five (25) feet tall trees emerged so quickly.

However unlikely, the anomalies could be explained by:

1.  Inaccurate library records.

2. Young transplant trees being heavily irrigated and fertilized.

3. Mature trees having been transplanted.

The Empire State Building

Built March 17, 1930 - November 13, 1930 (Top Out)

The anomalies surrounding the narrative and records of the construction of the world's most iconic skyscraper are many.

A glaring oddity is how such a fast pace of construction was achieved without a company like: Equipment - Morrow.

A Dick's Sporting Goods store can take two (2) years to construct and open.

Extrapolation Based on Real-Time Observation

Crane Task Operation Time

Ever seen a bucket of cement take over ten (10) minutes to load and deliver before returning to the ground?

By observing and timing the common tasks a tower crane performs on a jobsite, reliable timeframes can be obtained and used to estimate and/or extrapolate crude, but accurate, timelines for construction.

The image here is of the very start of the video below. The pink circle indicates the bucket of cement that moves out of frame at the beginning of the video; the causal viewer would miss it.

Real-Time Extrapolation

Detecting Anomalies in Modern Construction Time

Page 71. of the pdf below provides the incentive (hook) to read this pdf in its entirety and embark on a rewarding process of discovery.

This material isn't just for hardcore STEM nerds (who rule), but would also be of interest to chain-smoking, taco downing, coffee swilling construction worker types as well.

Deep Tracking & Tracing Construction Time

What Goes Up, Must Come Down.

This video shows that by counting the time it takes to lift and position the number of form supports on a site, there isn't enough time in two (2) weeks to construct the floor of a condominium or office tower. The work happens, of course, and the final pdf on this site can definitively answer how it does so rapidly.

Turning Evidence into Concrete Poof

Real-Time Doesn't Provide the Time to Construct Modernity

There is a straightforward way to validate such a claim.
